Thesis Guide

The undergraduate education program at the Faculty of Economics UNPAR as a whole includes a thesis preparation program as a curricular task that must be completed by students. The Bachelor’s degree can only be given to students who have completed all academic obligations including compiling and successfully defending their thesis. The preparation of a thesis can only be done if students have met certain requirements (can be seen in the curriculum book of the relevant study program) and have registered for a thesis course at the time of Study Plan Registration by filling out the FRS.

The preparation of the thesis by students takes place under the guidance of a supervisor who is determined by the head of the study program and is determined according to their interests and abilities. A thesis supervisor can be assisted by a co-supervisor.

In order to achieve uniformity in thesis writing, students of the Faculty of Economics who will compile a thesis must pay attention to the Thesis Writing Guidelines published by the Faculty of Economics UNPAR.

When preparing a thesis, students need a research cover letter (Request for Survey Letter), which can be obtained at the Faculty Administration (https://goo.gl/hJc64s).

Determination of Thesis Field

Students who will carry out the thesis preparation program must apply for the determination of the thesis field. The submission is made at the beginning of each semester and also applies to those who plan further guidance. The submission is submitted by filling out the form provided by the faculty and getting approval from the Guardian Lecturer. The appointment of supervisors for the preparation of the thesis is the authority of the Head of the Undergraduate Study Program by taking into account student requests and the capacity of available supervisors.

The thesis manuscript to be tested in the complete undergraduate session must have been accompanied by a final statement of guidance (https://goo.gl/84Lu2T) stated by the main supervisor which also contains a statement that the manuscript has been completed and is suitable for testing. At the time of registration for the complete undergraduate examination, three copies of the Thesis Draft must be submitted, or four copies of the guidance involving a co-supervisor, along with its completeness (https://goo.gl/bqKyhv & https://goo.gl/8tpXzH).
