Accounting Donation 2021 “Acts of Kindness”

Accounting Donation is a form of thoughtfulness from students of the Accounting Study Program at Parahyangan Catholic University. This year, Accounting Donation shared its thoughtfulness through the distribution of food packages to UNPAR canteen residents who were forced to close due to online lecture activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so that the income of UNPAR canteen residents had to stop. Therefore, Accounting Donation raised the theme “Acts of Kindness,” which expects everyone to have empathy for the people around them. Accounting Donation opened opportunities for students and lecturers who wanted to share some of what they had through open donations, which were carried out from May 15–June 14, 2021. In addition, Accounting Donation also received funds from the Fund Raising Division, which opened pre-order sales two times.

Accounting Donation 2021 was held on Friday, September 24, 2021, at the Wind Tunnel of the Rectorate Building of Parahyangan Catholic University, starting at 13.00–16.00 WIB. UNPAR canteen residents who came were warmly welcomed by the public relations staff for data validation, then directed to be directly given food packages. The delivery of food packages was carried out by the Head of HMPSA and the Chief Executive of Accounting Donation to 23 (twenty-three) UNPAR canteen residents and 1 (one) Yomart Ciumbuleuit parking attendant. The food packages contained 5 kg of rice, 1 L of cooking oil, 1 kg of sugar, 700 ml of sweet soy sauce, 5 Indomies, 1 box of masks, and soap wrapped in cardboard. All recipients of the food packages felt happy and very grateful for the assistance given to them.
