On Thursday, February 20, 2020 the Accounting Department of FE UNPAR received a visit from the Indonesian Nonwoven Association (INWA) represented by Mr. Billy Jan Hidjaja as Chairman of INWA. INWA is an association engaged in the field of nonwoven or technical textile. Nonwoven is an engineered fabric made from innovative and high-tech fibers. The visit was intended to explore cooperation between the Department of Accounting FE UNPAR and INWA. The results of the discussion have identified various alternative forms of cooperation that can be carried out such as: public lectures, campus recruitment, internship programs, company visits, guest lectures, team teaching lecture classes, seminar participation (speakers and sponsorship), scholarship programs, and joint research. As the first step of collaboration, the Department of Accounting FE UNPAR had the opportunity to fill a sharing session at the INWA Member Gathering event to be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Nara Park. The Sharing Session will discuss the topic of “Sustainability and Innovation” given by Mrs. Dr. Paulina Permatasai, SE, M.Ak, CMA, CSRS, CSRA from the Department of Accounting FE UNPAR together with Professor Kanji Tanimoto from Waseda University Japan. Real cooperation will be discussed further with the UNPAR Office of International and Cooperation so that it can be utilized by UNPAR more broadly. Through this cooperation, it is hoped that the relationship between UNPAR and INWA can be more closely established.
